<p>In the city of Hama, next to its famous waterwheels, this mural showed the former president and father of Bashar al-Asad, Hafiz al-Asad. Hama is sadly known for the massacre of 1982 - memorized by Syrians for its bloody actions by the government against the Muslim Brotherhood.</p>
