"Bank of Knowledge" Islamic card game

( Syria, 2009 )
graphic designgamescommunicationneonpackagingstars
Collection : childrens' things
Age/Era : 2000–2009

Before digital Islamic games  made an appearance on the market, Lebanon and Syria had to offer some classical game formats with Islamic content. In this card game called "The Bank of Information" questions from different fields as Islamic / social or Arts and Humanities have to be answered. Though bought in Damascus, the Islamic publishing house behind is/was based in Beirut. The design is strictly graphic - a big difference to contemporary board games and alike that in most cases use some cartoon-like illustrations. The range of colurs makes me think it was designed in the seventies or maybe rather eighties - can anybody help?
